Research shows: Huge ROI on “back-to-fundamentals” leadership training

From Bruce

Happy May!!

As our Generational Shift research continues, we have been inundated with requests from our clients for insights and best practices when it comes to recruiting, motivating, and retaining Millennials. We’ve also been inundated by media requests – see all the articles and interviews from April below. And check out the new revised updated edition of Not Everyone Gets a Trophy: How to Manage the Millennials and my most recent book Bridging the Soft Skills Gap.

Meanwhile, our ongoing Back-to-Fundamentals Leadership research shows that the undermanagement epidemic continues to hide in plain sight in organizations of all shapes and sizes and the costs are huge! The good news is that the research also shows clearly that “back-to-fundamentals leadership” really works: When leaders/managers get trained in high-structure high-substance coaching-style management, the return on investment is huge. Keep your eyes peeled for our soon to be released updates on this research. And of course you can always check out my books on the back-to-fundamentals approach – It’s Okay to Be the Boss and The 27 Challenges Managers Face.

Have a very strong May!!

PS – Please check out my new Huffington Post series, “The Wisdom of Strong Leaders.” The latest piece is a profile on Janet Altman, Marketing Partner for Kaufman Rossin.
